Stayed one night at the La Quinta Inn close to the Perimeter Mall. I arrived late evening to check in. The parking lot was fairly full, but I found a space toward the back of the lot. Check in with front staff was quick. Employees were very courteous. I had a two double bed room on the 7th floor, which looked okay when I checked in for the evening. The hall outside the room smelled of cigarette smoke, but I was not sure if smoking rooms were available. Next morning I got a better look at the room. The room needs some improvement. The carpet was stained in spots. The bedding had some permanent stains, so should be replaced. One of the double doors to the bathroom needed repair. Went downstairs for the continental breakfast. They had coffee, milk, juices, hardboiled eggs, assorted breads, pastries, muffings, strawberry yogurt, waffle making machine, and cereals. There were plenty of guests eating, but staff did not clean tables very quickly as guests left, so guests were eating at dirty tables. Positives include location close to interstate 285, shopping, and plenty of close restaurants. I will be returning to the area soon, but will probably try one of the other hotels close by (Microtel, Holiday Inn Express, and Comfort Suites are near) « less

This wasn't our first choice of location, simply because of the places we wished to visit in Midtown and downtown, butt those locations we're booked up due to a busy travel weekend in Atlanta. However, except for the short drive to and from the areas where we spent our time in the city, this was a fabulous stay. The area was quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The exterior, lobby, and sleeping room were attractive and clean, and staff was friendly and helpful. The "continental breakfast" was much better than in most hotels with a lot of variety, attractively presented in a clean, bright area. Only a full hot breakfast could have been better, but waffles and hard-cooked eggs were available. One caveat: If you don't "sleep like the dead," ask for a room away from the ice machines, as they are quite loud. This was a very pleasant stay, and I recommend this location without hesitation. « less

We stayed here after a surgical procedure at St. Joseph's hospital. The location was great as it is almost adjacent to the hospital as well as Northside hospital. The room was very clean and we were able to get an early check in. They had a special rate for people using the hospital which was great. The only thing I would improve on was the breakfast offerings. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. We will certainly stay there again should the need arise. « less

I spent the weekend at this hotel. It is a very attractive, well-maintained facility. I stayed in a King room with my dog. This hotel is very pet-friendly with no additional charge for furry guests! The room was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The bed was luxuriously comfortable. The room had plenty of work area space, a flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, blow dryer, iron and board. I would have given this review five stars if the breakfast had been better. It was just standard fare: plain bagels, fruit, yogurt, dry and instant cereal, make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, etc.
As a side note, there is a great Mexican restaurant just down the road called Uncle Julio's. One of the best Mexican meals I have ever had! « less

Fantastic Hotel!!! VERY VERY Clean!!! Great Breakfast every morning and the Breakfast hours were great for us that like to sleep in!!! Breakfast till 8:30 am!! YIPPY so I got Breakfast everyday!!! NO NOISE in hallways or other rooms!! VERY QUITE!!! LOVE It that they allowed Pets at no extra charge and you would never have known pets were even staying there. Plus no pet odor in our room from previous guest!!! AS us pet owners know, we usually have a lower quality room when we bring our pets. But not here!! It was Fantastic!! The Bed and Bedding were to die for!! OMG!! Loved it!!! I was recuperating for surgery when we stayed here and the Bed was very important and it passed with an AAAA+++++++. This Hotel is in a Fantastic area, Close to everything to see and do in the Atlanta, Ga area!!! Mall is right there and lots of restaurant's and grocery stores and Pharmacy stores. Hospital and Dr.'s offices and so on!! GREAT LOCATION as I said. Many great Discount rates they offer also!!! Where else could I get a King Bed, Refrigerator, Microwave, coffee maker and sooo Clean of a room for under $100.00 a night !!! OH and a pet at no extra charge!!! NO Where !!! SO if you don't stay at this Hotel, well then I am sorry for you!! « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"By the way, I was very pleased with your site's service! It turned out that our group got a better room price reservation at a comparable hotel to the one we were considering. Since our small jazz band doesn't really have any budget to speak of, price was an important consideration and thanks to your service we were able to save money without sacrificing on the quality and amenities of the hotel. Thanks again! We'll be using you again, I'm sure, for future trips." D.R. - Auburn, WA
"I'm so happy I 'stumbled' upon your services. This was exactly the sort of tool I need to find a new venue for our conference. Thanks!" J.H. - So. Orange County, CA
