The Aleksandar Palas Hotel is a late 19th century corner building, named after Aleksandar Obrenovic the Serbian king, and located in a pedestrianised zone of central Belgrade, 100 metres from the Kalemegdan Fortress. The hotel features nine air conditioned apartments with light decor and fabrics, dark polished wood furnishings and wooden floors. Alternatively guests can take a train into Belgrade station which is one kilometre away. Taxis are available from the airport and cost approximately 15 EUR to the hotel. Buses can transport guests around the city. Trains run to surrounding towns and cities.
