The Henley Park Hotel is an intimate eight story, 96 rooms and boutique hotel (Rooms are king or queen occupancy). Built in 1918. The Tudor style overlooks the Avenue. The interior of the hotel is decorated to reflect its Tudor heritage. The public space, redecorated in 2000 feature antique fixtures, warm colors and rich textures that welcome our guests. The Henley Park is proud to be a member of Historic Hotels of America.

I chose this hotel because it's within walking distance of the Smithsonian museums, which I wanted to visit, but also because it's a lovely 1918 historic hotel. Like many hotels of that period, its rooms and public spaces are smaller than those of big chain hotels. However, what it lacks in size, it makes up in character and charm. The hotel has been tastefully updated and is beautifully maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly, especially the greeter/doormen. I enjoyed staying in this unique property, and definitely would go back. « less

Stayed in this Hotel for 4 nights for bussiness/pleasure trip. The location of the hotel satisfied my needs so I could walk to almost everywhere I needed to go or go to the nearest metro station (Gallery Place/Chinatown). This is a part of town where a lot of construction is taking place. In fact, right in front of the hotel there is a massive construction site of a big chain hotel but noise was not an issue in our case. Our room was facing the back buildings and not the construction site and the hotel also have earplugs available in case noise is a factor. The room was clean, spacious and the bed and pillows were very confortable. Also complimentary bottled water was always available as well as a Washington Post edition every morning at your door. The staff was very friendly and courteous (thank you Anwar) and willing to help in making your stay an enjoyable one. « less

This hotel is a step above the others in the convention center area, as it is much more unique compared with the large chain hotels surrounding the area. The staff is quiet and helpful, and the room although small was very comfortable, nice bathroom. The restaurant was very good although waitstaff a bit slow. It can be noisy at times in the room given it is in a busy city and buses can go by, but the noise did not disturb me at night (and they supplied earplugs). Have stayed here before and will again. « less
