Decor is a little dated, but the rooms are a good size with desk, laundry facilities, a spacious bathroom and although I had a road side room it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and I slept we'll. it was a very busy time in Perth with the oil and gas show and for the price was good value. It is a little bit out of town so you will need a car or taxis.
I had two minor issues, the cold tap and hot tap handles were reversed, which may be a safety issue for young ones, and the air conditioning wasn't switched on in the Gym. This was very smelly, but I did get to sweat a little bit more.
I thought that the food was overpriced. We settled for the continental breakfast after a disappointing full breakfast option.
On the whole it was a nice place to come back to after work. « less

Easy to get to, easy and quick check in and check out. Helpful efficient staff. Room was adequate, nothing special, seemed a bit dates, and didn't think the bed was very comfortable at all. When we went to sleep we realised we were just given a top sheet and no blanket. Had to call down to reception and have a blanket sent up. The bed was ment to be a king bed but was 2 singles pushed together. We could hear traffic from the road and the people above us seemed to be having fun all night which we could hear very clearly. « less

I live in Perth but stayed here 2 nights for a residential.
First of all it is located south of Perth. I believe we stayed here due to the lower price (as compared to Perth CBD). We took taxis into the city.
Upon entering the hotel, it seemed a little dated and had the feel of a motel in the states.
My room was large with a big bathroom. It contained a large spa tub and a washing machine. There was a 2 or 3 minute sand hourglass suction-cupped to the wall, to encourage you to take a quick shower. I loved this and wanted to buy one from the hotel to take home, but I forgot and later ordered one online.
The furnishings in the room were simple, and there wasn't anything special or luxurious...just a spacious, good value, basic room.
Breakfast was served in the Pagoda restaurant, which I was told was a place where school proms were held decades ago. The breakfast buffet had quite a few options available.
There was a small gym available.
One annoying thing was that I had to go downstairs to the lobby to prepay for internet usage.
Seemed a littel understaffed at times, at lobby and restaurant. « less

The rooms were okay and I chose not to dine onsite. I had a look at the prices for dinner and the buffet for breakfast and choose neither. A breakfast menu would have been nice. A short walk to the Como shops on preston st will keep you out of trouble. « less
