My family and I stayed at Quinta del Sol, 5/12-5/16 and had a great experience. The hotel is short walk to the beach and located about 20minutes from the Marina ( i like to walk so I did not mind ) The staff is friendly and approachable always trying to make you feel comfortable. The junior suite had all the essentials, microwave, sink, silverware, table, and tv (cable included). The facility's pool was nice and one end of it was perfect for my two year old. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone ! « less

Great location, Great Service and very nice room with full kitchen. All of the staff were fantastic from check in, housekeeping, maintance, security and the restaurant. Beach was a 10 minute walk ( Baja Cantina) and the marina was a 15 minute walk. What a Great place for a little R&R!!! Will Defiantly be back!! « less

Three nights, early March 2013. We booked in here using Barter credit from Island TradeLink despite other much more expensive properties by the Solmar Group on Land's End being available to us. We deliberately chose not to be absorbed by the zoo in Cabo before heading up the backroads to East Cape and La Ventana.
What a pleasant surprise!!! Not the 'Grand Solmar', but then it isn't $600 a night either. Even at rack rate in cash, this would have been excellent...
Despite being on a small plot of land in the apex of two major roads, the developers have done an excellent job in establishing a professional image out what was obviously designed to be a motel building.
The staff were super nice, the place was clean, the 'dining room' a little cozy maybe, the rooms a little dated, the food good, gated access. It exceed our expectation in every way.
My only advice to travellers would be to avoid staying here during any time of a fiesta at the public fair grounds just east of here. The Norteño music played the way it can only be played in Mexico got a little much at 2:00am.

We stay just one day in this hotel in the first floor room 108. The continental breakfast was great. The price for the room was excellent cuz we got a discount in Expedia (996 pesos). The hotel has a pool. You need walk to access to the public beach, the closest is Medano Beach. The only thing to improve is the noises, you can hear every movement from the 2nd floor, if the people move chairs or the steps, you can hear that. I didn't call to the front desk cuz that was on the afternoon. After 8 pm the movements and noises stop. « less

Walk 10 minutes to the beach walk 15 minutes to the town or discount shoppng. Staff super friendly. You can use their 5 star facility across town during the day....
