Location. Set in ornate gardens on the banks of Lake Annecy in the French Alps, L'Imperial Palace is located one and a half kilometres from Annecy old town and 20 kilometres from Col de Forclaz ski resort.
Hotel Features. The hotel has a gym, Hammam steam room, sauna and beauty treatment rooms offering hair dressing, beauty services and massages. Guests can relax with a drink in one of the bars and try their luck at the gaming tables in the casino. L'Imperial Palace offers a choice of dining options, including La Voile, a formal restaurant serving French cuisine with seating extending to a shaded terrace overlooking the gardens. Expert Tip. The Palais de l'Isle is one of the most photographed monuments in France. Built in 1132 in the centre the Thiou canal, the palace was used as a jail but today it houses a popular local history museum and is open to the public.

Driving Directions - L'imperial Palace
|
Getting there. Geneva Airport train station is 300 metres from the Departures and Arrivals floors. All trains stop at Geneva Cornavin station in the city centre and depart every 20 minutes. A single ticket is CHF 5. From here trains connect to Annecy station which is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. Taxis are available from the terminal forecourt.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow the motorway in the direction of France (green signposts) until Bardonnex customs. From here Annecy can be reached by the main road. Take Exit 17 marked 'Annecy Nord' and follow signs to Annecy Le Vieux, Thones and Casino Imperial.
