Stayed 6 nights at Sorrabona and enjoyed our stay there. The room 116 was very spacious with a sea view beyond the road and railway and the breakfast here was good with plenty of choice. The restaurant in the evening was a bit too 'floodlit' for our liking, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants near by. Pineda De mar is not the most picturesque resort, but it has a good beach with a few beach bars/restaurants. Most of the coast line from Barcelona has the railway running in front of the hotels, but at least the station is close by! Overall a good value hotel for exploring the area. p.s don't park outside on thursday night as there is a Friday market and your car will be towed and cost 140euros to recover « less

Hotel is just as good, food very good, staff very helpful and friendly, as for noise the hotel next door does has music,but it stops at 11.30pm. it seems it is only the English who moan, as all they want is anything with chips and bacon and eggs for breakfast, i am English, i we love the food, for godsake you are in Spain not the uk. « less

Just back from a four night break staying in the Sorrabona and it 'did what it said on the tin'. Room 312 with a small balcony overlooking the beach was clean and comfortable. We were full board and the food is absolutely fine, bit 'samey' but, hey, how varied is your menu at home? Staff friendly and helpful. There is noise from the adjacent pavement bars and the terrace of the nearby Pineda Palace but this stopped by midnight and we were able to sleep with the doors to the balcony open despite there being the road directly in front of the hotel. Guests were predominantly Russian, Dutch, German and Spanish. « less

This was a clean, comfortable hotel, next to beach. Nice pool area. However: (a) Difficult to sleep due to VERY LOUD music from terrace night club in the hotel next door. (b) Breakfast was not good; spanish hotels need to send their staff to a few Austrian and German hotels to learn how to do breakfast! [Lunch at poolside was slightly better]. (c) Hotel staff was not helpful in terms of helping to store luggage for a few hours after check-out [seems like such a basic service; one that is offered in most hotels these days]. Note: We stayed at Hotel Stella in Pineda de Mar last year, and will go there next time! « less
