For a SoCal hotel I got a good price, and pretty much got what I paid for. The property is fairly old, and the rooms what you might expect. The bed cover (a smoking room) was full of cigarette burns, which is pretty yucky, but were basically clean. The pillows were small and not much use, the bed comfort about average.
The pool looked OK but was closed for my whole stay. The Wi-Fi is NOT free (3.99 per day), and the parking lot was almost full most evenings. Its convenient for the highway - in that my room looked right out over it.. but I slept OK. The Front Desk staff were busy but friendly, and the shower pressure good for a small motel.
On a really positive note - I travel a lot and have left quite a lot of stuff in rooms over the years. This time I left my MAC charger and small phone charger adaptor plugged in. I got home that evening and remembered that I had left them. I called and they had been turned in by Housekeeping!! I arranged to have them mailed to me and got them quickly. I have stayed in (and forgotten items) in hotels around the world - from motels to 4 Stars, and, even though I usually remember - and sometimes even call on the way to the airport - I have NEVER got these items back... NEVER, until this time. So Thanks!! « less

The price is okay for the kind of hotel it is, but the location is terrible. The highway there is actually two highways merged together, and the exit you have to take comes with no warning, thereby making you careen across four lanes of highway traffic, which in California is a death wish. The hotel itself is clean, but they are always booked to capacity on account of Magic Mountain. Also, we had pre-booked but the people did not have our room ready, we were forced to wait after a long ride from the airport at the Denny's down the street for them to prepare it. The TV channels were okay, but thanks to the busy street and loud pool area, we could not hear it. Another downside was that although it is advertised on Travelocity as close to everything, it took us an hour to get to Disneyland, and 45 minutes to get to Universal Studios. It was ok to sleep in, but next time I will just stick to Motel 6 in Anaheim. « less

I come into town alot for business and this happens to be the best place I have ever stayed at while down here. Its much more reasonable and the rooms look and smell great compared to the competitor next door. Now when my co workers go down to work and have to stay, I'll always recommend this place! A+++++++++ I cant wait to come back, even if I bring my family down for a trip ;) « less
