Condo was nice and spacious, we had 5 adults and 2 children, lots of room. Pool area nice and the water was warm enough for our 2 year old. Playground area, and a basketball court. Gated community so we felt very safe there. Great location too, close to everything and Target right next door where we went grocery shopping. We rented directly from the owners, and had none of the rules and regulations others have mentioned. We had complete control of the thermostats, and were able to park right in front of the condo. Would definitely stay here again. « less

Great accommodations, good spacious four bedroom accommodated all six of us easily. Silly rules posted all over the place saying don't do this or we will deduct X dollars from your deposit. Really, don't leave a speck of dust or you will lose part of your deposit. We just thought it was silly. Like what was the cleaning crew suppose to do. Also, read your contract, seems like a prudent thing to do. Just read it! Overall, pretty good experience and checked in a half hour early by special request. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. « less

We could not have been happier with our stay here. I was very excited when I booked the trip but then as it got closer I started getting nervous, how could something so affordable really be that nice? Well it was everything they said it was. It was myself, my husband, 3 children(10,16,17) and my parents. It was wonderful. There are TV's in every room so no fighting about who wants to watch what. The kitchen was smaller than what I am used to at home but I made breakfast every morning which was great, saves alot of money and upset stomachs from eating out all the time. My experience with the staff was very limited but was very helpful if we needed anything at all. The townhouse was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, The owner was very nice and helpful anytime I had a question. There is a Sams Club right across from the complex, a Super Target at the next light and a Super Walmart 2 miles away along with any type of restaurant you could wish for. There is a Publix right on the way to the parks we stopped there and brought subs 1 day. « less

We rented directly from an owner, through someone's review I found on tripadvisor. We paid the owner through paypal 30 days in advance the full amount (which made me nervous) but it all worked out. We were pleased with the townhouse. It was clean. Our particular place was very well stocked with kids toys and towels. It was managed by a property company (I think it was called "Near Disney" or something.) I was not crazy about the property company as they had little warnings and threats posted in picture frames all over the condo about the thermostat, toliet, rules, etc. and showed up in the middle of the afternoon to inspect some kind of fire extinguisher. But that is the particular management company.
We paid $80 a night for a three bedroom townhouse. There was parking almost in front of the place. We found it quiet. We did not like how the master bedroom was so far from the two bedrooms/bath upstairs as our kids are toddlers/babies. However, it would be a great thing if you needed your privacy! I have read in these reviews that renting directly through the 7 dwarf management would not be a good thing and what you get would be a lower quality. I believe that is true, as I had to phone them a few times about another matter and they rarely answered the phone and were not helpful in the least. We swam in the pool a few times and it was not kept very clean but it was warm. The whole complex was almost dead, as it was the low season, so we had the place to ourselves. My husband had a raccoon snarl at him and prevent him from throwing garbage in the bin and refused to be shooed away. That was funny I guess.
The thermostats/air con in the townhouses are not great, they do not cool the upstairs very well and it is recommend you don't turn them too "high" to cool the place down. If it was really hot out we would have had issues with the thermostats/air con. The inside of the condo and out was pretty new looking, however, it looks like a really cheap build. But I was happy with it for a weeks stay. It is close to a Sams Club and to target. Kissimmee seems like a very sad little place though as so many buildings and businesses are shut down or abandoned. It does seem like a "rough" place. It was not too far from Disney World. I would rather stay here and rent a car instead of staying in a Disney resort. More room and more freedom in a vacation rental. « less

The unit itself was terrific; clean, nicely furnished, exceptionally well-equiped, etc. Reservations through Near To Disney Resorts were handled flawlessly. So what's the problem? Whoever owns this unit and takes well-deserved pride in its contents and amenities is being unforgivably sabotaged by the people working on-site. There was a problem with the lock-box for the key, leaving it accessible to any passer-by. A perfect break-in target. Two on-site employees wanted nothing to do with addressing the issue. They sent me, the guest, back and forth between the clubhouse and the security gate several times, and neither employee was willing to even take a simple message to relay to whoever the appropriate party is. Nor would they take responsibility to take possession of the key to prevent unauthorized entry after my departure. They insisted I was "responsible" if the key couldn't be secured, and saw no reason why I might not want to miss my flight to figure out how to get the lock box fixed. I must say, I don't relish the prospect of leaving the unit in impeccable condition and then being assigned responsibility if someone breaks in and steals or trashes the place. Any more than the owner would wish to deal with the insurance claims, the hassles of repair and replacement, etc.
The owner has made a real effort to make and keep the unit a thoroughly inviting, comfortable and well maintained property. To have all that put at risk because a couple of guys can't figure out that even if they work for a firm with whom the resort has a contract, e.g., a "security" firm, they still have a responsibility to protect the interests of the resort itself, the owners and the guests. Even if such a simple, obvious task as making a phone call or holding onto a key is not specifically in their job description! « less
