First off, I booked through Priceline and got the hotel for a low price, good thing because I would be whining more if I had paid more. The property is conveniently located and has an attractive exterior. The desk staff that handled my check in was adequate, not particularly warm or friendly, looked at computer screen far more than at the customer. I was given the registration form without comment and while signing noticed that it indicated I was accepting a charge for USA today delivered to my door, not very clearly presented. I scratched out that portion and a paper was delivered to my room anyway, we'll see if I am charged.
Lobby and hallways seemed clean, carpet looked newer and in good repair. Some of the elevators smelled, like sweaty old shoes, the larger elevator smelled ok. The room was basic, appeared well cleaned. when we entered the room it was absolutely frigid. There were several small holes in the curtains, the heat/air conditioning were hard to adjust and the fan was very loud regardless of switching from HI/LOW, we finally gave up and turned it off which means we woke up later too warm. The bathroom was small, drain was slow enough that I was standing in an inch of water for the duration of my shower, and no shower cap was available in the bathroom (I imagine the desk would have supplied me but I was already undressed). We purchased the breakfast and it was fine, basic eggs/waffles/bacon, wait staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room location was quiet, many are near the pool/atrium which I suspect could be very noisy on weekends. « less

My wife and I have stayed here only 2 times but anytime we are passing thru this will be our stop Staff was great. Pool was crowded but as expected with such a great pool. The hotel has a wonderful layout. Just around the corner from the Cabin Club a must eat spot for a great steak. We always stay in HI and this is by far top notch. Nice work to the staff! « less

I travel for business 300 days each year, so I've stayed in just about every type of hotel there is out there- first, I was out off by the ridiculous solicitation of a "10" score for their customer satisfaction surveys- it borders on downright bullying the number of times they try to force you into rating them as a "10"- this hotel is not a 10- no way, no how!
The rooms themselves are ok, but the entire hotel needs cleaning and updating. I'm shocked by all of the positive reviews here- there must not be many options when visiting this part of Ohio! I would not choose to stay here again. « less
