Set in the centre of Saalbach in the picturesque Glemm valley, the lodge style Hotel Ingonda is situated just 100 metres from the nearest slopes and ski lift. With traditional Austrian decor and pine wood furnishings, all guestrooms come equipped with satellite TV, telephones and include ensuite bathrooms with hair dryers and tubs.
After a day on the mountains, guests can relax with a drink in the hotel's Blues & Co bar or sample Austrian dishes in a choice of restaurants. The hotel also has a wide range of spa facilities including an indoor swimming pool with water massage, Finnish sauna, steam bath, jetted tub and fitness area. Once weekly in the summer high season, the hotel offers a guided walk to a mountain hut. Free bicycle hire is available from the hotel in summer and there are also ski storage facilities. The nearest train station to the hotel is at Zell am See, 18 kilometres away, while Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport is about three hours driving time from the resort.

Driving Directions - Hotel Ingonda

Driving from Munich Airport take the A9 (E45) towards Salzburg then turn off for A99 direction Salzburg and Innsbruck. Later turn off onto A8 and continue for the next 44 kilometres until reaching the turn off for A93 towards Innsbruck, Kufstein, Brenner. Stay on this motorway into Austria then after approximately 16 kilometres turn off, at the junction 17, Wörgl Ost and follow the signposts to St. Johann. Upon reaching the b 178 continue towards St. Johann and on to Lofer. Just before the Lofer tunnel, take the right exit marked Zell am See. Continue to Saalfelden and onwards to Zell am See. Approximately 5 kilometres before Zell am See, the Glemm Valley is signposted. Head right at this exit and drive up the Glemm Valley passing though Maishofen and Viehhofen before arriving in Saalbach.
