Have stayed here many times due to business being close by! This Hotel is only a couple of years old so it stil has the "new" appeal. Jacksonville State is nearby as well as Fort McClellan. Here your only about 30 miles to Gadsden or 15 miles from Anniston or OXford. Breakfast is the same as in many braded hotels this size, bland!! There is a Bojangels within walking distance that serve the best chicken and biskits ever. Also while your in town try to find Cooter Browns BBQ joint, they do sell beer there. Hint! Its on HWY 204. You will not be sorry!!!
The only thing I have found kind of odd is that as many times I have stayed here it always seems that the owners have hired someone different to run front desk. Its always nice to have someone really recognize you if you do repeat business. « less

Our hotel of choice whenever we are in this area. This time we selected the king whirlpool suite--extremely clean, spacious, and accommodating! Warm, friendly staff. Super breakfast offerings--from cereal, yogurt, fruit, and danish to hot oatmeal, egg omelets, potatoes, waffles, & biscuits and gravy. Easy access to the interstate and a number of good eating establishments close by. Sweet "home" Alabama! « less

Staff is very friendly and responsive.. My wife and I spent night on way from Savannah to Memphis. The refridge wasn't working properly and they swaped it out immediately without hesitation. The breakfast area is meticulously prepared and carefully monitored by Miss Jane.. I'm a frequent Hilton Honors member and I snag breakfast at many Hampton Inns all over the country. I can tell you, none are as clean, well prepared or monitored better than Miss Jane's little breakfast nook... Egg omelet was great, sausage gravy top notch, biscuits fluffy, oatmeal perfect and waffle mix had perfect texture and taste! I'd come back just for breakfast ! « less

This is the third year in a row I have stayed here for the Cheaha Challenge Cycling event and I have always been pleased with this hotel. They have a stable staff on the front desk and the breakfast host positions. It is always nice to see the same faces. The hotel has great access to the interstate and plenty of places to dine. « less

We were to stay here for 3 days and was staying because it was Pet Friendly and I checked with Hampton Inn's website and looked at the Pet Policy and it said nothing to the fact that PET COULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED and you MUST sign this policy. How was we supposed to go to Wedding with our pet? This is not the hotel's fault but Hampton Inn's because they do not state this under the policy's. what we did see of hotel it was Very Nice! « less
