The staff at this trip could not have been friendlier or more helpful. While the motel is not located in the historic district it is an easy 10-15 minute drive and we found free parking places. All of the hotels in the district charge at least $15/nt to park your car on top of much higher room rates. « less

Was a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, but we were extremely pleased. Overall, the staff was continually friendly and helpful. Our room was not only clean, but also pleasing to the eye. Nicely decorated. Nothing to complain about here. The outdoor fire pit was nice to sit around in the evenings. Breakfast and evening snacks were just right. Lots of choices, with rotating selection. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Residence Inn on White Bluff Road in Savannah. Would stay here again! « less

Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff.... Manager's Reception each evening was lacking a little in the food choices based on other properties I have stayed at but complimentary beer, wine, tea and lemonade is still a nice end to a day in Savannah.... Hotel is a bit off the beaten path versus others I have stayed at and has limited parking unless you valet which is somewhat typical for Savannah..... « less

Convenient location to sightsee in historic Savannah. We stayed with another couple, in a two bedroom/ two bathroom suite. It's very convenient for two couples traveling together. Front desk folks were super; so accommodating! Suite was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable, but we found the shower to be a problem. The tub bottom is so curved that it's hard to find a flat place to stand. Very poor design. Also, the was some 'grit' on the bottom of the tub, which I assume was to prevent slipping. But, it was very uncomfortable on the bottoms of your feet. Again, a poor design. Great breakfasts! I would recommend this hotel to others, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. « less

Recenlty stayed three nights with my daughter while visiting SCAD. The hotel was very "charming" as it had the savannah feel to it - inside courtyard with pool, fire pit, rooms with balconies. The rooms were very spacious, with full kitchens. We chose not to cook, but it was nice to have the option. Breakfast in the morning was great- buffet set up with eggs, sausage, grits, potatoes, yougurt bar, oatmeal bar, waffle maker, cereals, etc...staff was very friendly and inviting. Kristen at the front desk was very helpful and made our experience a very positive one. There is free parking in the "front" side of the hotel, but the area is on the outskirts of the historic district and it felt a bit isloated to us. We parked valet and walked everywhere from there. Hotel is within 10 minute walk to Bull St., City Market, and the River front. There is a free DOT bus that stops at the hotel and that was very convenient for us. We used it at night to get back to the hotel instead of walking around by ourselves. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"hank you! I will definitely be recommending your service to others I know. It made the confusing task of booking a hotel block easy as pie! I can't imagine how tedious it would have been to call each of the hotels- and who would want to when they all competed for our business instead? :)" C.T. - San Marcos, CA
"Very impressed with the quick reply. Will recommend this site to fellow planners!!" M.M. - Camden, NJ
