As an event coordinator for a local corporation, I have had the opportunity to work with several hotels in the San Antonio area these past few years. I am glad to acknowledge the great team work of the Westin Riverwalk staff in making our 2 day corporate event a success. Our sleeping/meeting/dining rooms were clean, set up to spefications and the food was exceptional. The staff were extremely responsive and attentive to our needs. From the very first site visit to the final good bye, the warm reception and courtsey was quite obvious. They sure do take pride in their service. Their amazing team included Eva Avalos, Sales Manager, Monica Castillo, Services Manager, Veronica Hernandez, Event Meeting Specialist, Ernest Morris, Event Tech Specialist, Pedro Ledezma, PSAV Sales Manager, Roger Rodriguez, Director of Banquets, Joshua Cavallo, Banquet Manager, Maria Moreno, Tobias Jimenez, Omar Benitez, Armando Diaz, Maria Contreras (WOW Coin Winner), Jose Alvarado, Naren Naidoo, Zocca Manager, Raul Tristan and Josh Gonzalezthe.

I travel all over the country for work and I never take the time to write about a hotel or their staff. However, my most recent stay at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio was outstanding and I wanted to share the experience. Not only was the hotel clean, great location on the riverwalk, and the staff was amazing. I wanted to point out Roland DelGado who took the time to address all of my meeting need's from shipping, room set up, coordination, and just overall service.
I would stay here again and again. Great hotel, great staff, great location. « less

I've stayed at and reviewed this hotel in the past but our last stay took me on an unanticipated journey with one staff member in particular. This Westin has recently installed what I will call a new "heavenly" shower system which includes hand held sprayers and rain heads. They are very functional and extremely enjoyable so much so that I decided that I must have at least one for our home and a vacation rental property. As it turned out it was not available on the Westin hotelsathome.com website so I turned to the on property staff to try to locate the source.
I was directed to Mr. Leo Ehring the head of engineering who over the next several weeks jumped through hoops to finally procure the shower systems for me. Rarely these days do you experience this level of customer service. It's not only a testament to Mr. Ehring's exceptional dedication but Starwood Hotels and the Westin brand in particular.
If you are planning a trip to the River Walk look no further for your accommodations. You will not be disappointed with this hotel or it's fine staff. « less

The staff was friendly, the property was clean, and the food was excellent. My wife and I were able to enjoy breakfast on the patio that sits on the river.
Everything you would want to do in the city or the Riverwalk is central to this hotel. The river taxi stops at this hotel and provides an additional means of getting around. Don't hesitate to stay here. « less
