Burgess Falls, located only 10 miles from our hotel, offers 3 lovely waterfalls, as well as fishing and picniking. Couples and family will also enjoy Cane Creek Park, located only 2 miles away, where you can enjoy activities such as: fishing, paddle boating, and hiking. Cane Creek also provides outdoor pavillions for large groups and parties.
The Comfort Inn & Suites is also conveniently located just off Interstate 40, 80 miles from Nashville. Many of Cookeville's restaurants are all located less than 2 miles from the property. come from nashville airport and wanted to get past the road work being done between nashville and cookville my flight landed in nashville around 1:00 am after getting our bags and everything it was about 2:00 so we drove over 1hr to cookville stopped for the night the guy that check us in said new day had already started so our check in day was 5/14/2013 and check out was 5/15/2013 so he said we would not have to get up and be in a hurry to check out my receipt also said the same dates so room service come on in and we was in the room she said WHEN ARE YALL CHECKING OUT so i go to the front desk show the receipt and everything the guy said no you have to check out today like now its past check out i said no my receipt says check out is tomorrow so we had to leave could not take a shower my wife could not get ready or anything lobby was a mess the whole place was a mess carpet and tile not down walls looked very bad place smelled the worst stay i have ever had in any hotel would never stay here again i would sleep in my car first « less

The hotel should have mentioned on it's website that it was being remodeled. My family booked five rooms. Some rooms were musty, some had carpet missing in spots, a spider hung from the hallway sprinkler. The breakfast and juice were in different rooms. I had to wait in line to get plates so I could eat my breakfast. The shower was only barely warm. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. « less

This hotel was above and beyond in making mine & sis's trip comfortable. The free WiFi helped pass the time and the TV had MSNBC on it. Check-in & -out was a breeze and the desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The biggest disappointment was the "continental" breakfast. The breads were stale and the "eggs" were artificial. Best to go to IHOP down the road. « less

I was in town to work the Home & Garden Show and chose this location for its convenience to the location and many dining options. Everything was very clean and well kept; breakfast was very good. Staff was exceptional. My only recommendation is the workspace in the room. The desk is great, but the only lights are wall sconces and none in the desk/work area. A desk lamp or lighting in this region would be great. I stayed in room 123 if this helps the property. Thanks and keep up the great work. I will stay here again! « less
