From Dusseldorf Airport (airport DUS): Distance to Hansa Hotel is 7 kilometres, approximately 13 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Around 300 trains a day stop at the Düsseldorf Airport Rail Station, which is located directly on a major axis of the European railway network. A free monorail connects the railway station and the terminal building. The S7 S Bahn train departs from the Airport Terminal underground station on the lower level of the building; trains in the direction Solingen Ohligs run via the city centre. A single ticket is around 2 EUR. Buses 721 and SB51 run to the city centre. The bus station is located in front of central Arrivals. There is a tram and metro station opposite the hotel which can be reached by metro numbers U78 and U79. A taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost around 10 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.Düsseldorf's travel service is known as the Rheinbahn. This consists of U Bahn and S Bahn trains, trams and buses. Taxis are white and yellow Mercedes and can be found at the train station and at numerous city stands. The city centre is compact and easily explored on foot. The Old Town (Altstadt) does not allow cars.
