Location. The modern, two floor Abasun Hotel is a small, city centre hotel situated right in the historic and cosmopolitan hub of Montpellier, 50 metres from the central Place de la Comédie and 100 metres from the railway station. Montpellier Airport is five kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features. The front desk is open 24 hours, and staff at the concierge desk can advise guests on nearby attractions and sightseeing opportunities. Drinks and snacks may be purchased from reception, where guests can relax and chat before setting off into town. Valuables may be deposited in a safe at the front desk, and visitors with cars will find parking available nearby.

Expert Tip. At one end of the Place de la Comédie is the ornate Opéra. Venture behind this 19th century theatre to explore the warren of hilly streets that comprise Montpellier's old quarter. Head to the western edge of town to stroll along alleys of exotic trees in the Jardin des Plantes, France's oldest botanical garden, which dates back to 1593.

Getting there. Half hourly Navette Centre Ville buses run from exit gate A at the airport to Montpelier railway station, 100 metres from the hotel. All regular flights except early morning and late evening are covered by the shuttle, and the journey time is 20 minutes. A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 25 EUR. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow directions for Montpellier Centre, then follow signs for 'Les Gares'. Park at 'Parking de la Comédie'. The hotel is 50 metres from here.
