Location. The Hotel Apollo is located in Athens, Greece, within 500 metres of the National Theatre of Greece, one kilometre from both the Acropolis and the shops on Syntagma Square. The Metaxourgio metro station can be found 50 metres from the hotel. Hotel Features. Nestled between all the other shops selling leather goods and a whole lot else are amazing spice shops. The colours and smells are so good it's difficult not to return home with a few samples.

From Athens Airport (ATH): Distance to the Hotel Apollo is 20 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The suburban rail line connects the airport to Athens' central station, Larissis Station. Single tickets cost 8 EUR. Additionally, Metro line 3 runs between the city centre and the airport. Six public bus routes cover Athens and Piraeus, as well as running to Athens Rafina Port. The closest metro station to the hotel is Metaxourgio take the Achilleos exit. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals, Door 4, and cost about 25 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Public transport throughout Athens is inexpensive and convenient. Services include buses, trams, trolley buses, and a metro service. Tickets should be validated at the orange machines on board or in metro stations. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced. Visitors are advised not to drive in the city.
Driving directions. From Athens airport take Attiki Odos in the direction of Elefsina. Take exit 8 to Corinth (Korinthos) or Lamia. Bear to your left and take the exit toward Peristeri. Bear to your left and at the lights, take a left down Lenorman street. Go under a bridge and bear left. At the lights on Achilleos street, turn left and enter Karaiskaki Square. Go around the square as if going back on yourself and at the lights take a right onto Odysseos Street. Turn left and enter Metaxourgio Square.
