Location. Britselei 37 is located in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium, next to the old Palais de Justice, within 500 metres of fashionable shopping streets and one kilometre from the cathedral and old city. Antwerp International Airport is eight kilometres away and the distance to Antwerp's central railway station is two kilometres.
Hotel Features. Britselei 37 is a family run establishment, comprising 14 apartments, accessible by lift. Situated in three four storey merchant houses set around a courtyard, the hotel provides the comfort and privacy of a private residence. Guests can borrow a selection of films from the video library and relax in the courtyard. On street parking is available (surcharge).
On arrival, guests receive a welcome basket containing a selection of breakfast items, Belgian specialities, beer and wine. A complimentary continental breakfast can be supplied to apartments, each morning, and requests can be made for pre arrival shopping.
Guestrooms. The air conditioned apartments are individually decorated with bright rooms, high ceilings and original features. Fully equipped kitchenettes have an espresso machine, refrigerator and microwave oven. Separate sitting areas come with a sofabed and writing desk and all apartments have an LCD television with cable channels and DVD player, direct dial telephone, high speed Internet (surcharge) and CD player. Private bathrooms have a shower and hair dryer and are supplied with designer toiletries and slippers. Some rooms have a marble fireplace and all have either a balcony or direct access to the communal courtyard.
Expert Tip. According to legend, a giant once lived on the banks of the river Scheldt, demanding a toll from all who passed. Those who refused to pay had a hand cut off. A Roman soldier eventually killed the giant and removed his hand. Today, hand shaped biscuits and chocolates commemorate the event.

From Antwerp International Airport (ANR):
Distance to Britselei 37 is 8 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Central Antwerp is two kilometres from the airport. The number 16 bus runs to the city centre from the airport, between 5.30 a.m. and 11 p.m., every half hour during the week and every hour at weekends, and costs 1 EUR. Taxis to the hotel cost about 12 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Most places in Antwerp can easily be reached by foot. However, there is also an extensive bus, metro and tram system. Passes, carnets and single tickets can be purchased from tourist offices or outside the central station.
