No HD TV. This is kind of a joke for a hotel in 2013. TVs are cheap these days. There's no excuse for having a non-HD TV in a hotel, especially when you have the Marriott branding,
Towels. Scratch that, I mean, the dish rags. Seriously, go to Target and buy some new towels. Thinnest, most pathetic towels I've seen at a hotel.
Air conditioner was way too loud. Maybe it was just a broken unit, but it was loud.
A bit loud facing the highway.
Overall, a decent hotel, but if in the area again, I'd probably look elsewhere. « less

Stayed here recently, and a few times previously. Rooms are a tad small, but always clean, quiet, and the beds are comfortable. Internet in the room is generally very good. The lobby and commons are clean and well laid out. There is good computer access in the commons, Pool area and hot tub are clean and open early and late. The pool is big enough to actually swim in. There is easy access from the highway. There are several restaurants and other services nearby. Staff is always helpful and competent here. Only negative is that Courtyard has a to-order breakfast, and Starbuck's instead of a coffee table. The restaurant counter staff are competent but the whole process is too slow. Time is precious on business travel and a buffet is just easier. There are several hotel choices within a stone's throw from this hotel, including a Residence Inn, Hampton Inn, and Hilton Garden. I like this Courtyard well enough that I have not tried the other hotels nearby. Recommended. « less

I usually don't complain about things like towels, but I have stayed at many Courtyards in the past and the towels are always nice and fluffy. At this location? nope. Maybe it was just my specific room. Don't know, but the towels were very thin. Functional, but a little rough.
I think the room may have been vacant for a while as well as the tub had a rusty water stain and the first water out of the tub/shower tap was rusty as well. It cleared up almost immediately, but the shower head needed a good cleaning/descaling as well as it sprayed everywhere. « less

This hotel will satisfy. Clean, comfortable room. Good location for Fishkill visitors. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel lacks a true bar/restaurant. A chain joint is a short walk away to cover that base, however. My biggest complaint would be about the TV in the room. Poor-to-mediocre picture quality in standard def and a personal bugaboo--no way to access menu functions to change aspect ratio settings. As is the case in many hotels with 16:9 flat screens, the default setting is to fill the frame regardless of the program's format. If you aren't a big drinker and don't care much about TV, you could be very happy here. Other reviewers have gripes about highway noise. In my courtyard-facing room traffic sound wasn't a big deal. Those with sleep disorders/auditory issues might differ. « less
