The hotel is conveniently located on the US Highway 1 corridor between Princeton and Trenton, NJ on the southbound side at the Interstate 95/295 interchange. We are an exterior property with ample parking. The property is 100% pet-friendly allowing one well behaved dog or cat per room; all we ask is that you declare the pet at check-in. To check-in, you must be at least 21 years old and have proper ID (either State ID/Drivers License or a Government issued Passport). We are located adjacent to Joe's Crab Shack restaurant and Enterprise Rent-a-car. We are a T-Mobile hot spot and internet access can be purchased for a modest daily or weekly fee.

I am cycling across the country on my bicycle with my dog Fiji. We had no place to stay the night, so we stopped into the Red Roof Inn off of the D & R Canal Trail/East Coast Greenway. My mom spoke with Alissa at the front desk who was lively, bubbly and professional. They did not charge for Fiji, my dog. I was so surprised when I walked into a beautiful room with hard wood floors and granite counters and a desk area to work on a computer. The room and bathroom area was clean, and my dog plopped right on the bed to fall asleep. She usually spends the whole night smelling the beds in motel rooms. She can never sleep comfortably because the beds are so dirty with a wide array of nasty scents on the bed. She did not do this! So, RRI's beds are Fiji-approved. We had a comfortable sleep. Noise at night was minimum. I was able to charge multiple devices overnight due to the amount of outlets. For cars, the motel is on the U.S. 1. For cyclists, runners or other people on the East Coast Greenway, it's super convenient. In the morning, Cleo at the front desk saw to our needs and talked to us about our journey across the States. She was also super friendly and professional. She answered questions and made sure we had everything we needed. I took a picture with the motel staff! Across the street are stores, restaurants and other places to refuel and refreshen. I rate this motel as five stars. You truly won't get a better stay for the price. Very affordable. « less

We came up with our dog and cat for a one night stay while we attended a dog show. I travel frequently and usually stay at upper end hotels; however this was such a short trip and the hotel did not, like others in the area, charge extra for pets, so we decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and had a super large counter top/desk area for us to put all the pet gear and overnight bags. Apparently this was a renovated room as it had the granite sink area. The bed was quite comfortable and there were several electrical outlets built in to the night stand for charging phone, iPad, etc. A couple of small nits: the TV didn't come in well and the channel selection wasn't huge. Also the outlet near the sink didn't work so my husband had to dry his hair over by the nightstand. Finally, access to/from the hotel was not easy. Confusing area to navigate but there's nothing that can be done about that. Kudos to Alissa at the front desk for following through on canceling an inadvertent duplicate reservation and for checking us in in advance the night before so we could access the room early in the morning. Great customer service. Overall, it was a fine stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again.. « less

The maintenance guy, Hany, is one of the most helpful people I've ever met in my life. I had a flat tire and he was off the clock. He volunteered to help me. He cranked up the car and inflated the tire back up for me. He even offered to follow me to the auto shop to make sure I was alright! Stay here, this place has good karma! « less

Spent 3 nights here while on a business trip in the Princeton area. To be honest booked on low price and proximity to Princeton. This is basically a motel that is undergoing a renovation from the inside out. Many of the rooms have been renovated and are quite nice inside. I stayed in one of the renovated rooms. It was clean, comfortable and had great wi-fi connectivity. The outside, however has seen better days. This place is located right off Route 1 and can only be accessed from one side of the highway. Getting back on the highway during peak hours is not for the faint of heart. Staff are friendly and helpful. In summary it was OK and will be much better once the outside is spruced up. « less
