From Düsseldorf Airport (DUS): Distance to the Hotel Petersburg is 8 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Düsseldorf Airport rail station is located on a major axis of Europe's railway network, with approximately 300 trains stopping there every day. A free monorail runs between the terminal building and the railway station. The S7 S Bahn train leaves from the airport's underground station, located on the terminal building's lower level. Take a train towards Solingen Ohligs for the city centre. The single fare is around 2 EUR. Buses number 721 and SB51 travel to the city centre, and there are buses to the fair ground. The bus station is outside the Arrivals building. Taxis into the city cost about 16 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Düsseldorf's integrated public transport system includes the S Bahn (suburban trains), the U Bahn (metro), buses, and trams. Single tickets cost approximately 2 EUR. Most trams stop running at midnight on weekdays, however, certain lines continue running until 2 a.m. Prices subject to change.
