Location. The Century Casino Newcastle is located in Newcastle, South Africa, five kilometres from the centre of town, and 100 kilometres from Itala Game Reserve.

Expert Tip. Newcastle has a surprising literary history as both Rider Haggard and Eugene O'Neil lived in here for a time. O'Neil's cottage served as a hospital for British soldiers during the Battle of Majuba and many of their graves remain. The sites of several other battles between the British, Zulus, and Boers are scattered over the now tranquil landscape.

From Johannesburg International Airport (JNB):
Distance to Century Casino Newcastle is 250 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Car hire desks are found in the airport Arrivals hall.
Getting around. A private car is the most convenient and reliable way of covering the vast distances encountered in South Africa.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow the N3 to Durban. Follow signs to Pietermaritzburg.
Continue on the N3 until the turnoff for the N11 to Ladysmith.
Follow the N11, through Ladysmith to Newcastle.
Turn right at the first T junction.
Carry on, straight through town, passing Edgars Shell garage, Newcastle High School, and the BMW garage.
Century Casino Newcastle will be on the right hand side.
