On arriving at this hotel, I'd already read the reviews but went with an open mind. However, I realised we were in for a ‘treat’ when we arrived at our room and the bedside tables were filthy – stained and dirty. When we ran the water to check out the shower, dirty brown water flowed into the shabby, paint-peeled bath tub. Deciding that perhaps it hadn’t been used in a while, we let it run to as clear as we could get and headed out.
We'd arrived on a Sunday evening so headed down to the restaurant, passing through the pool area that looked quite nice, but the restaurant itself resembled a morgue with absolutely no atmosphere, most likely because everyone was eating the most disgusting inedible food imaginable – it looked like it had been left for days, fried from frozen and absolutely revolting.
There appeared to be one member of staff responsible for the restaurant, clearing plates, manning the bar and then moving over to the bar inside. You had to wait forever to get a drink (in a plastic cup) due to this one poor lad being on his own, who incidentally was very sweet and did his best given the circumstances and complaints.
The next morning, my friend used the shower and I questioned if she was wearing fake tan as the threadbare towel was streaked brown (she hadn’t). When we confronted the receptionist with our towel, she mentioned that she’d get a maintenance person in there but remained indifferent and unapologetic. When we asked if we could move to a nice modern apartment (the ones shown on the website), we were indeed told that you can only book these through a specific German tour operator. When we returned to our room later that afternoon, the bathroom smelt of urine, which hadn’t been there earlier.
The bed sheets had holes in them and after sleeping one night in the bed I discovered an unsightly stain, so was grateful I hadn’t seen that before getting into it.
Needless to say, we were out of there in 24 hours or it would have ruined our holiday and instead went to another hotel that I knew from a previous tripAs for location, I couldn’t comment – the hotel was so revolting, we left in time to start and enjoy the rest of our holiday. « less

While the complex is ideally situated in Costa teguise, being central with two pools, one next to the promenade and beach the other in the centre of the apartment blocks both having thier fair of sunshine. We were self catering and found we were expected to pay eight Euros per week for a basic kettle, we thought that at least should have been free! Utensils were sparse. The apartment was not unsatisfactory but requires an upgrade especially the bathroom, wardrobes and kitchen. The bath requires a change as ours had been painted and is flaking while one showers, the bidet had been removed and not replaced. I reported to reception that concrete spalling had occured above and next to the large bathroom mirror cracking tiles and threatening to damage the mirror which could have disastress results, this information was recieved with indifference. Our wardrobe doors were metal slide and fold which could have done with a coat of paint as they are rusty and dirty, and a drop oil here and there would have stopped them squeaking. The kitchen speaks for itself! After five days we complained to achieve cleaning and new towels, thier target was supposed to be every two days. We would use this complex again but would have to be desperate! « less

My boyfriend and I stayed here last June for 1 week all inclusive.
Great location near many bars and restaurants & the beach is just a 2 minute walk away from the hotel.
Despite the fact we opted for all inclusive, we only went to the hotel restaurant for dinner once during our stay as the food offered resembled canteen food. So we ended up dining out every night. The drinks for all-inclusive were served in ridiculously tiny plastic cups & you were only allowed 2 drinks at a time at the bar.. Not exactly all-inclusive if you ask me! The bar/restaurant staff also found it difficult to crack a smile & service was very slow at the bar.
Our apartment was spacious and the beds were comfy. However, our apartment was not cleaned once during our stay. We also had a problem with ants in our kitchen (coming from a hole in the wall). « less

My wife and I have just returned from the blue sea beach. We stayed seven nights and all inclusive. I am surprised at the mixed reviews on this site. Our bath was not painted. Our towels were changed five times during the week. The room was spotless and more than comfortable. The pools were freezing. The noise from the bars could be heard from our room. The staff were all fine, some more friendly than others but never rude. The food was hit and miss. Breakfast, usually OK. Lunch, mostly good. Evening meal, usually rank. Avoid the desserts, tasteless, Gofio 'slices' (brown plasticine) and give the chicken in chilli gravy a wide berth. If you like Panga (hermaphrodite fish) and breaded chicken covered in ultra salty sauces, all luke warm, served with cold chips then you will be in seventh heaven. There was no entertainment, despite what it says on the notice board. The all inclusive drinks did end at ten but this was not a problem as the Manhattan bar was not somewhere you would want to spend a whole night. In summary, I think that most of the reviews on here are exaggerated and unfair. The location of these apartments is excellent. Right by a small sandy cove. I have stayed in much worse places and the only real downfall was the evening food selection. After all is said and done, it was the cheapest holiday on icelolly and you cant expect five star quality for two star prices. « less

we have been to this complex 4 times, twice @ half board & twice for all inclusive. The bacon @ breakfast is always burnt to the tray @ one end & undercooked @ the other. We made use of the microwave they have next to the toaster, we put all our meals in the microwave for only I minute & then it was ok. We like the complex, so are going to try self catering next time we visit, as food in the spa supermarket was good value for money & then you can eat what you want. « less
