Overall, not a bad mid-priced hotel. The location is convenient to the highway, typical shopping, and a number of chain restaurants. Due to where it is located in the city, getting downtown is about a 10-15 minute trip.
Check-in was very standard and we were met by very friendly staff. We were in our room quickly and the extra blanket we asked for was delivered promptly. Wi-fi in the hotel is provided free of charge, and there is a decent-sized breakfast area with a large screen television that could accommodate a couple of groups in the evenings.
The continental breakfast was pretty standard - waffles, smaller baked goods (muffins, small pastries), toast, english muffins, some fruit, milk, cereal, juice and coffee.
Check-out was very easy and a request to extend our checkout from noon to 1p was graciously accommodated.
Overall, very good stay, a nice property, and a good location. Will definitely consider this hotel again when coming back to Indy. « less

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn fo a business trip and got stuck in town due to a north east snowstorm. All flight were cancelled home. The hotel is small, but does have an indoor pool and is across the road from a large strip mall. The room was kept clean and the breakfast was good for a business stay, but after the second day, you would want a but more. It is a distance from the downtown area, so without a car you're stuck. There was a city bus to take you into the downtown area, but I didn't venture too far. « less

Stayed here during Christmas for a week long family visit. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful, and we were impressed with their genuine concern for us as guests. The room was spacious, the lighting was very good. I am normally not a good sleeper in hotels, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and it took me one night to get used to it. Breakfast was very good, with a very nice selection, including breakfast sandwiches. Plenty of shopping and restaurants along 86th Street. While not elegant, I would certainly recommend this hotel as an excellent value. « less
