We are a new LaQuinta Inn & Suites recently renovated in Jan 2009. All of our rooms have flat screen TV's, refrigerators/microwaves, hair dryers, iron, ironing boards and coffee makers. We have a fitness center, business center and a hot breakfast each morning. We also provide complimentary wireless internet access in all of our rooms and public areas. We are near shopping areas and eating areas and a lot of the ball fields.

We are near all of the local restaurants and shopping areas. the mall is 1 mile, Robert Stadium is 3 miles, the Mesker Park Zoo is 10 miles, Holiday World is 40 miles, downtown is 5 miles. We are 1 mile away from Newburgh. Casino is 5 miles away.

I stay at La Quintas a lot and this one is one of the best. The staff is so professional and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect and your stay is comfortable. I had a wonderful night's sleep and room was very quiet. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with eggs and sausage, two flavors of waffles, energy bars, fresh fruit, as well as the usual items. Free USA Today. Although there are no restaurants in walking distance, there are many places to eat just a short distance away. Everything was very clean-common areas, breakfast area, as well as the room. « less

The beds were nicer than most hotels, having a pillowtop, but the pillows could have been a little better. Overall, the stay was great and the value was good. Lastly, the refrigerator and microwave were nice to have in room! « less

The people who work at this location are some of the nicest and most accommodating I have ever encountered. Our travel schedule was such that we would be arriving before the normal check in time. I called ahead and they were very happy to make sure our room would be ready at our arrival time. The room was very clean and there were many good restaurants near by. I would highly recommend this location. « less

This La Quinta is located within an area of multitple motels, many restaurants, and lots of new development near a hospital. If you stay in Evansville a lot, it would still take a long tine to compare all the options in the price range. There is a Drury Inn across the way, Baymont, Hilton Gardens, and more. I gave it 4 because it is smallish (3 stories), it was quiet, the linens were great. On the negative, it is showing age in the bathroom, there is an outisde pool next to the interstate, the workout room is small with no elliptical, breakfast was basic, and it's 12 miles off I64 on an interstate that goes to downtown Evansville. The breakfast was minimal, with watery scrambed eggs and apples wrapped in plastic. No great dog walking or jogging spots, though okay for early morning before traffic. « less
