I had called to gain information a few weeks prior to my stay. The staff has always been very patient and provide great answers! During check-in, I was provided some great travel information for future visits. The only confusion I had upon arrival was the name of the hotel had just recently changed. The rooms were very clean, spaceous. Also, with the hotel being right next to I-4 the room was extremely quiet with no "road" sounds.. « less

The smell of the restaurants used fry oil stunk up the lobby. The Grill closed early on a Friday night. I walked into the bar at 8:45 pm and the bartender was talking to the only customer and treated me like I was walking into to her living room uninvited. She then told me the cook shut off the grill at 8:45 since business was slow. Funny, there was not a soul in the restaurant area doing closing work and the lights were out. Room had mold and crud all over sink and tub and there were roaches crawling all over. Nasty place « less

Since we have family in the area, we have used this property frequently over the years. Our stays usually last for at least a week. Unfortunately, property maintenance and staff efficiencies seem to be declining. It is time to update the rooms and be sure everything is in working order. Not sure that we will continue to use this facility. « less
