Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights visiting family in the area. We also had 2 other relatives staying in the hotel that were equally disappointed. The rooms need updating. My young children commented that the bathroom was dirty, tub was stained. Bedsheets where not the brightest white, more grayish in areas. The pool area was very busy. It was vacation week but also it seemed like a large children's birthday party was going on in addition to hotel guests. The pool just wasn't big enough to be enjoyable. There where no towels poolside to dry off with. Empty shelves. Garbage in lobby area overflowing. The next morning breakfast wasn't much better. Bread/bagels gone, sausage gone, no yougurt , eggs, milk. Had to complain to front desk about garbage yet again. Our next morning the food area was stocked well and clean. An attendant was present. We were busy with family outings so we didn't use the pool area again. Overall for the money we spent, I wouldn't stay here again. « less

We stayed on a Sunday in January, the price was low, and value high. My seven and three year olds loved the big water slide (the three year old could use it with her puddle jumper style life jacket). It was perfect for them, not to high, but certainly high and windy enough to be exciting. The room was clean, updated, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. I like going to this hotel because it's all so easy--the hotel is right off 169, parking is right by the hotel, the hotel is not terribly big so it's easy to get to the pool, front desk, and breakfast room, there are restaurants and gas stations very near, and the quietness of the place makes it restful. « less
