The Hotel´s architecture and decor mirror the elegance of Buenos Aires in the 1930s, when the city rose to world prominence as a prosperous shipping center. The 309 guest rooms, including 2 Presidential Suites, 8 Junior Suites, and 270 Deluxe Rooms and 29 Club InterContinental Club Rooms have recently been refurbished. They are decorated with leather furniture and art depicting classic Argentinean scenes. Every bed has 350 fiber sheets and exclusive duvets and feather beds made of Canadian goose feathers.
Its excellent 11 meeting rooms are ideal for holding cocktails, breakfasts, dinners and business meetings. The Montserrat room can hold up to 400 people for a Gala Dinner and up to 900 people in a theater set-up. Its elegance and glamour impresses every visitor. We also have open-air areas that can be used for cocktails.
The Hotel has three gastronomical options: The Restaurante Mediterraneo offering Mediterranean Cuisine in a semi-formal ambience; Terraza del Virrey featuring typical Grilled dishes in a relax and green area and the Café de Las Luces serving International drinks and snacks in a 1920s décor space.
The fitness center equipped with the latest cardio equipment and weight machines includes sauna, massages and an indoor swimming pool.
The Business Center has the latest high-tech: Internet connection, multilingual staff and the possibility of renting equipment for events.
