This is not a great rate but you get what you paid for and since I only needed a place for myself to sleep while attending this conference, I went cheap. It was a cheap nights stay ($50 per night compared to the $90 to $100+ at most of the other hotels. Here is the rundown: the hotel isn't in a very good location, I would not have taken my family there. There were groups fixing food in the parking lot and while I felt safe, I wouldn't have let my children run around and they are teenagers. The bed was as hard as a rock which I didn't enjoy but I got what I paid for. The lobby is nice looking but the room is basic. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room but I didn't use either. The tub was set up great for a bath but the tub was very slippery and the shape of the bottom made a shower a bit tenuous. I felt I got what I paid for since it was so cheap. I might stay here again by myself for the night but I probably will pay a little more and get a better nights sleep on a nicer bed.
Staff was very courteous and professional. Didn't have a lot of interaction but check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. « less

We stayed at the Best Western in Franklin, TN a couple of nights ago. Although the amenities were decent for the price, they did not provide hot water to take a shower the next morning. After calling the front desk about the problem, they informed us they would have the problem fixed in fifteen minutes at the most. After waiting thirty minutes the water was still not hot. We had a very important day ahead of us so we decided to wash our hair in the sink with cold water. After running the water the entire time we were getting ready, it still did not heat up. Not only were we late for our day, we also were unhappy that we were unable to take a shower. We called to speak with a manager and get our money back for our stay, the woman at the front desk said that "I didn't know what I was talking about". I have yet to have a manager call me back. Although this hotel claims to have good customer service they obviously don't own up to their mistakes. We are highly disappointed and would not recommend this hotel for your stay in Franklin. « less
