The Institute was established in 1851 as Georgia's first military school. Gracefully integrated into the facility if Brumby Hall - the Institute's original Superintendent's home. Circa 1851 yet fully modernized, this remarkable home is one of Atlanta's few remaining antebellum masterpieces.
