I booked this hotel for one night on my I Pad while traveling back to the Boston area. I called the 1-888 number listed. We arrived late as was expected only to find that my reservation number was for the hotel in Ashland, KY not VA. Of course I had paid for the room. The two wonderful ladies at the desk, Portia and Drastii worked diligently through the Tripadviser chain of command to change our reservation and get our money returned. No small feat to be sure. Then they were instrumental in steering us to "Applebee's" next door for a late night dinner with entertainment. Our stress level decreased tremendously as a result of their caring and concern. Our room was great and we will stay here again without hesitation. « less

I was on my last leg of my journey home but traffic was so bad I had to stop. I found this hotel close to 95.It was very clean, not expensive and in a very safe area. I had a 7 Eleven, gasoline and McDonalds all within walking distance. The hotel staff was very polite and they even had Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at the counter. This was a wonderful relaxing way to end a day of hectic driving from Florida during the Easter weekend. « less

This was a one night stay, as we needed a place for the opening weekend of Kings Dominion. The room was very clean, the service from the employees was outstanding and when we asked for something it was delivered in less than a minute to our room. The pool/hot tub was very clean and enjoyable after an already long day. Breakfast the next day was great as well, all the food was fresh and replenished in a timely manner. The gym was basic, but I met my daily workout needs as well. We have season passes to the park, so we will definately be staying here again, because of the aforementioned qualities. « less
