We needed to stay for one night to attend our grandson's 4th birthday party and decided to try Trip Advisor's Tingo site since they offered the option of lowering the price should that price become available, which it did. The room was a spacious double queen and was very clean. The staff was very accommodating when we could not initially find a parking spot (the hotel was full booked that night). I was very impressed with the safety feature the hotel had where you were required to use your room key in their elevators to get to your floor. An excellent safety feature that I have not seen in other hotels. The location was very convenient as it was situated in an area with many trendy shops and a beautiful park. Would definitely use this hotel again while visiting family in Albany.
Hint: The Albany Medical Center's cafeteria which is just across the way offers very inexpensive food. We had a full breakfast for two for $10.00 before we left. « less

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and conviently located across the street from Albany Medical Center. There is a restaurant and Starbucks located on the first floor and panera bread was about a block away. If you need to have easy access to the hospital this is the place to stay! « less

This Hilton was nice, but we also thought it was a bit pricey. When we got there, it was later in the evening so they told us to "make our own parking spot" and didn't charge us since there was very limited space. Staff were very nice and helpful. We got the breakfast package and it was delicious. We loved that there was a Starbucks on the premises. If you get a chance walk to Washington Square Park-it's a lovely walk maybe about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. We stayed here due to proximity to family in the area so it was a good location for us. We also visited the capital, Empire State Square and the NY State museum which were very close. « less
