Was in Detroit earlier this week and chose to stay at the Four Points at DTW. To a person, the staff were friendly, efficient and honestly concerned my stay would be a good one, from the shuttle driver that picked me up to the front desk staff, the servers at the bar and even the housekeepers. No issues with my room to speak of - bed and bath both clean and comfortable - all in line with the Four Points experience I'm used to. Was amazed that I could order food until 12:30 AM and more amazed that the bill for a Gyro and two Pacifico drafts came to $14.00 - bargain of the year so far..... « less

We booked the park and fly package for the Sheraton for a recent trip. The price was very competative for the hotels in the area. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel is showing a little age but everything was clean and in working order. The location is nice being right across the street from the long term parking. The staff was very helpful for our request and friendly to speak with.
The only downside was that we stopped in the bar after dinner for a drink and the prices were very high. For our two drinks, we spent more than we did for dinner at a local diner.

Stayed one night on business. Friendly, helpful staff (seems typical for most SPG properties). The room was clean and comfortable; however there were two glitches that made the stay a little less pleasant. First, the sliding window was not and would not close all the way, which created a draft in the room, and since the night was windy, it was very noisy. I didn't complain to the staff, but notified them upon checkout, and they promised to fix the problem. Also, the television only had one network channel, and the TV on demand features didn't seem to work. Neither issue was a big deal, but I found it a bit uncharacteristic from the typical SPG property. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, reasonably priced, and the service (especially breakfast) was attentive. Despite the minor glitches, I would not hesitate to stay there again. « less

Picked this hotel based on AAA recommendation. Great choice. I usually stay at a Park and Fly hotel when traveling and it's often a different one each time. No more. Next time I need to stay at a hotel with park and fly arrangements at Detroit Airport, it will be the Four Points by Sheraton. Service was superior with front desk employees going out of their way to see that I understood where to park my car and get back to the hotel. And, they found that I'm a Starwood member. I had forgotten that. Upgraded my room. Wow. Dinner in the Grille was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. I'm a solid customer here whenever I fly out of Detroit from now on. « less

The hallway appeared outdated and in need of some touch up in regards to the paint but entering the room was a very pleasant surprise. Really nice clean room. Super comfortable bed and quiet. Really good setup with desk, chair, armoire, fridge, microwave and nice bathroom. « less
