We experianced several problems during our stay. The room had a musky smell. When the air conditioner shut off the fan made a loud rattling noise. The toilet stoped up in the morning. Each time a problem was reported we received an apology but nothing was done to correct it. After being on the lobby computer for about ten minutes, I was asked by the clerk to get off so one of her long term guests could do his payroll. ( constuction crew housed at hotel ) very inapropriate. I understand they are long term customers but they are no more inportant than any other customers. « less

The manager at this establishment really let me down. I didnt get the day manager's name but he was a complete moron. I've stayed at this hotel 3 to 4 times in the past & I have never had an issue until this stay. Long story short, my room was not serviced. First of all , i was rudely awakened by the barking of someone's obnoxious dog (i had no idea this place was "pet-friendly") I rose 2 find there was a note slipped under the door stating that because the "do not disturb" sign was on the door, our room would not be cleaned if we werent out of the room by 1pm. Seeing this notice prompted us to get ready and we were out of the room by 12noon. As we exited the room we saw 2 ladies on our floor w/their carts so we're thinking cool they'll catch our room. Upon our return that night of course they didnt touch our room. To make matters worse, we needed new towels. Now there is no runner at night to deliver little things such as, so we had to go down& retrieve the towels ourselves. Now im an employee. Had our room been checked earlier they would have replaced the freaking towels. Not to mention in addtion to the mad barking dogs, the vending machine on the 3rd floor has been broken for years, there was a flithy towel that laid in the hallway near our room 2 nites in a row, and when we checked in, the elevator smelled like someone's rotting corpse was decomposing in the ventilation system. These aforementioned issues I was actually willing to overlook had management handled my complaint more professionally. I told the dork of manager who was on the morning of check-out(Saturday may 4,2013)about my room not being serviced & the inconvenience it caused, which by the way, the whole time I'm telling him very respectfully & nonthreatening, he's looking down at the desk fumbling with papers. But I tell him & he goes" I dont kno how housekeeping works". just so happens at that moment a housekeeping lady walks by. He says "hey can u tell this lady a little bit about your hours& how everything works". I'm like, ur the manager, y dont u know this! But I didn't say anything. So she goes to get the head housekeeping lady.The head lady comes out & is very apologetic &sincere(she was the 1st to apologize) so shes done her part. Cool rite? Manager now u give me my discount so I can go rite? Wrong. He stands there silent. So my partner is like can we get compensated? He's like all I'm authorized 2 approve is 10%. Well That's better than nothing idiot!! Never staying here again!! « less

The smell coming out of the a/c unit was bad. It smelled as though there was water damage of some sort, it smelled like a wet dog. The stay as a whole was good but the smell was the most memorable thing about it. « less
Clean but we had interrupted sleep because of average noises from neighbouring guests...footsteps, doors closing and opening, flushing toilets, etc.
Front desk personnel were very helpful.
