The Thompson Rivers University Residence and Conference Centre is located on the South West side of Kamloops overlooking the beautiful Thompson Rivers. At 11 stories and positioned on the far west side of the University Campus the building is an impressive structure, visible from most parts of the City. We are conveniently close to shopping centres, other amenities and sports facilities such as the Canada Games Aquatic Centre and McArthur Island Park. Visitors to Kamloops will appreciate everything it has to offer, from the weather to the shopping and outdoor leaisure activities. We offer 271 suites with your choice of either one, two, or four bedroom units as well as barrier free suites for guests with physical limitations. Each suite is fully furnished with a double bed, large desk and work area, telephone service with voicemail and satellite television. Each suite also has a three-piece bathroom and kitchenette complete with a sink, microwave and fridge. Our suites feature unsurpassed breathtaking views of Kamloops and the surrounding landscape. In addition we have our fully furnished Exclusive Loft Suites on the 11th floor. Enjoy the comforts of a gas fireplace, flat screen plasma television, quality leather furnishings and floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the City in the living area. There is a kitchen complete with sink, microwave, fridge and stove as well as a three-piece bathroom. A queen sized bed, flat screen plasma television and other special amenities compliment the bedroom, which will ensure an unforgettable stay! All our suites are air-conditioned, pet friendly and include full housekeeping and linen services. We offer complimentary local calls, guest parking and internet access. To complete your stay we also offer a complimentary continental breakfast from May until August. Weekly, monthly and group rates are available and kids under 12 stay free. Our on-site facilities include a 10th floor cardio room, laundry and kitchen facilities, an outdoor patio with barbeque, furnished lounges and social areas, secure bicycle storage with exterior access, vending and ice machines, fax and photocopy services. We are a secure building with controlled access entry, 24 hour staffed front desk, on-site management and video recorded common areas and hallways. Thompson Rivers University Residence and Conference Centre is a 15-20 minute drive from the Kamloops Airport. There are taxi services available with a one-way cost of approximately $25. There is an airport shuttle available with a one-way cost of approximately $15. Special group rates are also available.
