I stayed here for two weeks in September on a business trip. 1st impressions were good, the motel situated in a very posh neighbourhood in the Antwerp suburb of Brasschaat on the Bredabaan N1 road. The room was smart and clean, TV had plenty channels with a few in English. The bathroom was immaculate with good shower, bath and facilities. Bedding and towels were changed on a regular basis. Food at breakfast was good, lunch bag provided was good and the dinner menu was very good. Free Wifi on request at reception.
I'd like to have given the Dennenhof a higher rating but for the following:- the bed was too soft, traffic noise was a problem, laundry service was pathetic ( yes the clothes were cleaned and ironed but the service itself took at least 48 hours and that is too long). Plus I discovered 3 strange insects in my room, don't have a clue what they were but got rid of them quick! Storage space in the room was minimal. No tea/coffee making facility and no fridge in the room either. One other annoying aspect was a few flies in the dining room.
Not much to put this place into a higher bracket though, so on that basis I would stay again. « less

Nice that you can pull the car right upto the room almost.Breakfast was very good with a chice of both hot and cold and the boiled eggs were perfect every day.We ate in the restuarant a couple of times The food was fine but not cheap. Saying thet anywhere in Antwerp is not cheap. 20 minutes from central Antwerp which is well worth a visit. Check in and out was speedy and the staff very helpful.Free wifi in Motel and rooms.Tv had several English channels.All in all a nice stay for a reasonable price. « less

We stayed in this motel for one night with 3 persons (booking.com 85 euro). Though our expectations were not too high, as it is a rather classical motel along a rather busy road, we were positively surprised. We stayed in a room at the backside of the building, very quiet and no noise of the road. The room with three beds was functional, clean, provided with a modern flat screen and a good bathroom. Everything worked well. The dinner (the local Kempen menu for 33 euro including a local beer) was served on the terrace, tasteful and of good quality. Breakfast (10 euro per person) was good value for money (e.g. salmon...). Normal exit time is 10.00 AM, but without additional costs we could stay until 01.00 PM. We can highly recommend you this motel! « less

I stayed at the Dennenhof on Wednesday 13th June for one night. I was in a large group with 10 others on bicycles. Upon arrival at around 18:00 we were shown a room in which to store our bikes and then quickly checked in. It took only 2 minutes to do. The lady on reception asked if we'd like to eat in the restaurant and managed to get us a table for 11 with just a 45 minute wait. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and was of the quality I'd expect at a 5* hotel and much better than I have been served in the past. All dishes were out on time and together. The only downside to this hotel was the heat of my room. The Radiator thermostat in my room was broken and it was belting out heat. I could have asked to be moved and probably wouldn't of had any issues as the service provided was always first class. I brought the problem to the attention of staff upon checkout and I'm sure it will be quickly sorted out.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Antwerp area who doesn't need to be in the centre of the city as the location is on the northern outskirts. « less
