We thought that we would spend just one night but we ended up there for 3 nights as we enjoyed it so much. Our room was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small but more than adequate and very clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. After 1 day, they all seemed to know our names. The restaurant was fabulous. We really enjoyed sitting at the bar, chatting with the wait staff and other customers. The food was delicious and cooked exactly right. And don't skip the desserts. The only down side was that the elevator quit one day but it was repaired fairly quickly. I hope that we will be going back to Lancaster County soon and we will be staying there. « less

Stayed two nights at the Waynebrook and I have mixed feelings about it. The room in it's entirety was very clean. The decor was not my style at all and seemed dated. Shower was very tiny and the mattress was a little lumpy and firm. There was alot of noise from the restaurant and bar also from the road.
Now the restaurant was good, and service was very friendly overall. The continental breakfast was waffles cereal and muffins etc. The building itself was uneven prolly due to it being from the 1800's.
Chances are I would stay again but would be better with some renovations. « less

We were on business in the area and, along with our nearly 15-year old Cocker Spaniel, stayed one night, . For travelers with pets, the hotel is truly pet friendly, not just pet tolerant. That means that there were no room restrictions. We chose the king Jacuzzi suite. This is a small, old hotel, and the rooms are all different, so if predictability (same old cookie cutter motel/hotel room) is what you want, the Waynebrook Inn isn't for you. We value charm and character over predictability. Our room was quite large, and the jacuzzi was large as well. There were some negatives: no Kleenex, plastic drinking cups, and the mattress was extremely firm. Also, be advised that the restaurant, Bistro 10, which was attractive, is not open on Monday, which happened to be the night we stayed. The bar downstairs, Horseshoe Pub, is open seven days, and one can order from the restaurant menu. The food was quite good, especially the duck confit flatbread. However, the tables are uninviting, and the room is dominated by the very large bar in the center. So, we sat at the bar, which meant sitting with the bar crowd, which was a mixed bag. The breakfast is self-serve and basic - coffee, hot water, packaged yogurt, bottled juices, apples, and a waffle maker. « less

My husband and I live in Reading area, about 1/2 hour away, and decided to stay here overnight for a weekend getaway. We had a queen jacuzzi suite and everything was perfect. The bed was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, two bathrooms, nice jacuzzi and we ate dinner in the Bistro on 10 and it was also lovely (Melissa was our server and did a fantastic job). Thanks so much to all the staff--from the b&b to restaurant. And it was really reasonably priced. We loved it... « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"This site has been a rewarding experience in searching for our annual conference needs. It was exactly what I was looking for and I've bookmarked your website for future use. It's great to use your service to narrow down the location as well as the Hotel. Simple and easy way for Hotels and travelers to execute business without phone calls and web searches." F.O. - Columbia, SC
"This is an awesome concept. I would not have gotten started without this service. Because my mom is recovering from a illness, this service has helped take the stress out of searching for a hotel at this late stage of our planning." L.P. - Bloomington, MN
