I've come to love the Fairfield Inn and what they have to offer. This was my first time visiting this particular location and I was not disappointed. Everything lived up to my expectations from the clean room, quiet hallways and awesome staff! I must say that my favorite improvement over other locations I have frequented is that this place had actual eggs and bacon/sausage for breakfast! They have done away with the pre-packaged, microwave-yourself breakfast sandwiches and have replaced them with healthier, more tasty alternatives. I will definitely visit this location again if I needed to! « less

I was booked to stay at this hotel on a business trip...the reservation went very smooth as when I entered into the building the front desk clerk, Brittany, greeted me by name and with a smile and stated that they had been waiting my arrival...they had a great room prepared for me and it was quiet...the other staff that I encountered were also very nice and friendly...I would highly recommend this place...the people made the stay very enjoyable and the next time that I am in Akron, I will make sure to look them up...thank you Brittany...you made the trip worth while... « less

For a hotel to have their common practice to double the rate for no reason, except speculation of increased number of rooms needed shouldn't sit we'll for business travelers. At best, $109 room, and guest should be expecting loud heater, that doesn't work, thin sheets with no comforter. And a bedroom you can't open the door all the way, then this is your type of hotel. $249/night, really, maybe $49.99. Marriott should be ashamed. « less

We were having a family reunion in the Akron/Canton area.Several family members, including myself,had the misfortune of staying at this Fairfield.When I walked into my room I thought someone forgot to clean it.There were little bits of paper strewn across the carpeting along with who knows what else.When I talked to the front desk they assured me someone would come and clean it immediately.TWO HOURS LATER someone showed up.Totally unacceptable.The bathroom reminded me of a truck stop toilet.When I inquired about the room's filthiness I was met with bad attitude.If Marriott cares about customer service they would be wise to meet up with the ownership and management of this travesty that calls itself a Fairfield Inn.I've been to a few other Fairfields and everything was great.Save some money and go somewhere else.Our family will never use Marriott ever again because of this horrid experience « less
