While this hotel has a lot going for it, there are some flaws that make it just an average hotel. The external appearance, lobby, and checkin experience were setting it up for five stars but the room brought it back down to average. Upon opening the door to the 2nd story room there was an unpleasant odor that required treatment. The other big issue was the noise and vibration of the air conditioner, which was just barely at an unacceptable level. Fortunately it is still cool at night and I did not need to leave it on through the night. Aside from the AC unit bing full of dust and dirt, the room was reasonably clean and well appointed. The hotel does have a complementary afternoon social but you'll have to buy your breakfast. « less
