Ramada Inns are always a quality stay. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Amenities such as fridge, microwave, coffee maker are always standard unlike some other places. Good lighting, plenty of electrical receptacles (a plus), wi-fi, etc... The $35 pet fee however, was outrageous and put me in a bad mood for the duration of my stay there. The only other thing I did not like was the full priced breakfast as opposed to a continental one. « less

Sub-par property. It looked good in the pictures on line but not nearly as good in person. True, the lobby is quite nice with all the wood paneling and sweeping staircase but that's the only good part of the hotel. The property is the old style with rooms opening directly to the outside, not on to an interior hallway. It is a two story property with no elevator. Th exterior was run down with cracked sidewalks and bare dirt where grass once grew. Rooms had newer furniture but the carpet needed cleaning, something sticky on the table top and the faint odor of tobacco in the room.
We stopped here only because we wanted to shop at the local outlets before returning home for the season. No tax on clothing in PA.) We travel with our cat and this was one of only two hotels in Washington that accepted pets (for an additional $30 charge!).
The only reason this hotel can charge close to $100/night is because Washington, PA is ground zero for natural gas drilling in southwestern PA. Drilling companies have imported personnel from other states to oversee and train the local workers. All these out-of-state employees need somewhere to stay, so the drilling companies put them up in area hotels. These men work long shifts and really don't care what the hotel looks like nor are they likely to have the same security concerns the ordinary, overnight guest does.
The room rate does not include any breakfast. Fortunately there's a McDonalds at the bottom of the driveway.
Unless you are falling asleep at the wheel in desperate need of sleep, best to avoid this property. « less

The appearance of the exterior was much better than in the past. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my room; it appeared to have been re-furbished. I stayed at this hotel about three years ago and it seemed run-down and in need of a face-lift. It is much improved. « less
