My daughter and I went to Atlanta for an overnight shopping trip. We had stayed at this hotel on our last visit and had such a great experience we went back again. The hotel is just such a pleasant place to stay. The entire staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The rooms are clean, fresh, and very comfortable. They have extra pillows in various styles (soft, firm, etc.) which I found to be a great perk. And then there is the breakfast bar that is outstanding and Free. The location is great, close to everything. When we were finished with our shopping (again convenient and easy to get to) we walked to Max Lagers pub, (less than a block away), sat outside and had a lovely meal. I am in my sixties and really cherish the time I get to spend with my daughter. I found this hotel to be a little oasis in the heart of a great city. My recent visit to Atlanta was enhanced tremendously by the attitude & actions of a very special staff at Best Western Plus Inn At The Peachtrees. They treated me as one of their family & my thanks especially to Donnell, Gretta, Jamila, Shannon & Yvonne! They were terrific!!
The hotel is within walking distance of many local sites, including the Martin Luther King Centre, Ebenezer Church (huge thanks Donnell!), CNN, The Georgia Aquarium, High Museum & Piedmont Park. Good walking shoes recommended - can be quite a hike to some of these sites, but if not up to it - MARTA has excellent light rail service).
The team's recommendations for restaurants were excellent, especially Georgia Sweet's Juke Joint at 200 Peachtree (fab food & music), & Max Lager's directly across the street from the hotel.

First no worries...not ever going become a cynic...love my wife too much.
Good to read that ...the waiters...CJ and Dan at the.... Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint down the street from us...were great... and.... Jasmin at Max Lager's Brewery across the street made you feel at home..
Your comments about them.... and our five staff members...who I love a lot too...
reinforce the reality that while... we all get "bombarded" with....negativity and negative news.. that there are still really good "things" out there... and... still a lot...of good people who care.

I was looking at several hotels for our parents night out in Atlanta. To be honest, what finally made me choose this location, other then the great price was how the manager of the property responded to reveiws of his hotel. I was very impressed at how he would apologize when needed and praise his staff when needed. I felt that any one who enjoyed their job and took enough pride in their hotel, it was worth a try. I was not dissappointed at all. I have been reading the other reviews and I disagree with the negative ones, if you did your reasearch on the hotel, you will see that all the rooms are outdoor, you will also see the parking fee is 15.00, this is listed very plainly on their website (and other websites). Our room was clean, the bed was comfy and the hotel was in walking distance to everything. The staff was wonderful and everyone seemed happy to be there. We would stay here again for sure. Glad I gave it a try. Thanks! « less

My husband and I recently traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to visit our youngest daughter attending college in the area. We were pleasantly surprised to have found the perfect spot in the Bestwestern Hotel located at 330 W Peachtree. It was perfect for both the pocketbook and the location.
The location was especially great because it was only about 10 minutes driving distance from our daughter’s college and centrally located to other sites we were interested in checking out like the Georgia Aquarium. You’re also within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shopping and the MARTA.
We were also very spoiled each morning with a BIG breakfast (included in the cost I might add) ~ scrambled eggs, grits, breakfast meat, breakfast potatoes, waffles, coffee, all kinds of tea, yogurt, various types of fruit, muffins, rolls, biscuits~ everything was simply delicious! It was close to home cooking.
The staff was very accommodating as well. One day our room was overlooked by housekeeping but as soon as we notified the front desk, the matter was handled ASAP. Hats off to Yvonne J, Robert S and Gretta H for the great service.
The parking garage only has one way in and out BUT the front desk works it like a charm. We were in the hotel 5 days and never had a problem.
Overall, we were pleased. We intend to use this same hotel when we return. We’ll also recommend this location to our friends. « less
