Visited this hotel for the 2nd time. We were given room 6, a lovely big room with king size bed, huge en suite and views over to woods where we saw deer roaming. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Dinner was excellent and the cosy lounge with fire was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend. « less

We were here on a 5pm deal for dinner ,bed and breakfast, the hotel was very quiet for a thursday night with just 2 other parties. We were allocated room 6 which was a huge room with a nice wee en-suite and a view of the grounds in front of the hotel. Dinner was excellent and after dinner we sat at the roaring coal fire with a few wee nips. We had a peaceful nights sleep in the huge bed and had breakfast which was good but not great, all in all, a great stay and we would return « less

Myself and my mum went for an overnight at the Strathblane Country House, that my dad had purchased as a little treat. On arrival the hotel is lovely, and nice and quiet. We were checked in by a very friendly young lady, who was great help and changed our rooms around - as I am disabled and have problems walking and wouldn't managed the two flights of stairs. The only problem is there are no ground floor bedrooms. Luckily I managed to get up the flight of stairs or it could have ruined my stay. The room and en-suite were very spacious, and had everything you would need for your stay. We were pleasantly surprised at just how nice the rooms were. We got ready and headed down for dinner. We chose to order from the ala carte menu, and im so glad we did! we chose the Duck as the main, and it was to die for! absolutely amazing! we had the carrot cake, and cheesecake and they were also amazing. I will definitely be returning for dinner soon!! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, but one boy in particular stood out. His name was Gavin, and he went out of his way to see to our needs. He really is a credit to your establishment and due to the service we received, will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay x « less

Service was slow but the food was well worth the wait. My Mum & Dad had cullen skink to start and they both loved it. for the main course myFather & brother both had steak and I have never seen a steak that size before, it was massive. Mum & I had chicken with black pudding and a mustard grain sauce and it was delicious. I had vanilla & white chocolate cheesecake which was ok, the cheesecake filling was a bit on the thin/sparse side, Mum had the raspberry & champagne torte. It looked awesome. My brother had the cheeseboard which was lovely too. We went there with a website voucher deal and it was well worth the money. We will go back, this time I'm going to have steak :-) « less

Just returned from staying overnight at the Strathblane Country House Hotel. Had a great stay & meals in the evening & breakfast were lovely. We are getting married here on the 17th August 2013 & can't wait to return. The room we were booked into was very large & great size of bed and great view into the gardens. Great size bathroom aswell. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends. Big thanks to Margaret for going over our wedding plans & questions with us. « less
