Like most things in life this was a mixed experience. The room although adequately sized smelled like it had been smoked in and we were assured that it was not in the smoking floors. Additionally, the carpet was ripped, terribly stained and very old. One of the worst features was the shower which could not have the hot and cold water be regulated. It simply wouldn't stay hot and went from ice cold to hot and back as well as having almost no water pressure. I realized this wasn't a five star hotel when I booked it but it was still a very dissapointing hotel experience. « less

The location for this Ramada, was conveniently located from the highway, which made it easy to get to local eateries, and attractions. The breakfast was generous, and had almost everything you might want. The rooms weren't bad, considering this location seemed dated to some degree. The staff was generally polite, but I did hear one staff member making an off colored remark about one of the guests as I passed through one of the lobby corridors. They do not need to express their personal thoughts about their visitors. My only other complaint, is that they need to brighten or modernize the dining area. It was dark and old looking. Overall, I was satisfied, and would return again. « less

While the staff were extremely friendly, the hotel itself is in disrepair. (1) The entrance door did not open smoothly or at all. (2) The elevator doors opened and closed on their own before closing and operating. Slamming and jumping open and shut. (3) Ice makers were not working on all floors. (4) Bartender stepped out with friends with beer in hand to have smoke breaks. If it weren't for the front desk, repair and cleaning staff, we would have checked out immediately. « less
