The Nelson Resort is a nice hotel and just 3 minutes away from the Nelson Bay beach. The rooms where tidy and big enough. For people who just use the hotel room to sleep and spend their days outdoor this is a perfect option! Only thing I missed whas the free wifi option. « less

Great location near the marina. Friendly welcoming staff with very quick check in process.Nice comfortable rooms. We stayed in a room facing the main road but still very quiet. Rooms are clean and spacious and the kitchenette is and added bonus.
Also very convenient to Coles and shops.
Really enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and also has a tennis court.
Whilst parking is available it is not dedicated parking. therefore during peak times if you come back late at night it may be difficult to park. « less

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with the kids. Booked into a family room which had a small kitchenette, a king bed, a single bed and a double foldout sofa. We had a nice view over the marina and the location was great. Nice heated pool. One of the best aspects was breakfast in The Little Nel Cafe which is part of the hotel. Overall a great hotel in a great location with friendly staff. « less

One of the best run hotels we have stayed in. I had made my original booking online but needed to make a few changes( Emma was so helpful ) check in was fast and easy, Debbie was very friendly. Rooms are modern and equipped with everything you would need. We had breakfast each day at the onsite coffee shop, food and coffee and service was great on every visit. The house keeping staff are friendly and do a great job of cleaning the rooms. Nice pool and BBQ area. This hotel is close to everything in the Bay Area . Thanks for a great stay, we will be back. « less
