This is the best hotel in the area for the price. It cost around $100 and it comes with a free breakfast that is freshly made (get the biscuit & gravy). Comfortable beds & modern room. I even got a free drink at the bar as a welcome. If there is a down fall the area around the hotel isn't the best but I never have felt unsafe. « less

Recently stayed two nights here. Never again. Was in newer part of hotel. The lobby was great....... But after that, it was all down hill. On arrival to room, the smell was old and musky. Thought this would go away with A/C but it didn't. A/C set on 64 never got room below 76 degrees.... Measured on personal thermometer. Room could have used more than a little housekeeping. Turned on faucet to brush teeth and got rusty water for a few seconds. Think I would have done MUCH better directly across the street at the Motel 6. Huh.... Now that's a thought. I will stay there or another place, but not here again. Shame on the management for letting a great institution spiral downward during their watch. « less

It was cooked not precooked microwaved like some hotels. Breakfast was very busy and the staff did an excellent job. Very reasonable rates. « less

After a long day of travel, I tried to retire for the evening. As I turned down the bed, I stepped in Fritos (baked corn chips, junk food). Also, bathroom is really small. The door swings inward and nearly misses the toilet. No exhaust fan, so steam is overwhelming after shower. Hair in tub from previous user. Air conditioning unit loud and not consistent. I called the front desk and they're on their way up with new keys for a different room. I hope this lack of detail cleanliness doesn't apply to my new room. « less
