The hotel was completely remodeled in 2007. The oversized guestrooms have new furniture, drapes and granite countertops. Each room has sliding glass doors that go out to their own private patio or balcony. Our banquet room will hold up to 30 people and the hotel will allow you to bring in your own food & beverage. This hotel is 100% non-smoking and not pet friendly. We serve a full hot buffet breakfast in the morning to all our guests. Fresh baked cookies in the evening.

This hotel was 'okay' but I have stayed in better Best Westerns, it generally seemed in need of some updating.
There wasn't enough light in the room, there really needed to be some lights on the ceiling and not just a couple of lamps. This, combined with the dark furniture and bed coverings meant that the room was quite dingy.
Major downside for me was when we went to make a cup of coffee, we discovered a used bag in there already! This should definitely have been cleaned out when the room was cleaned prior to us taking up occupation.
I doubt I'd recommend it to a friend or stay here again... « less

If you want a nice, clean, well-located place to stay, choose this place. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and well-appointed(frig, micro, Kuerig coffee maker), the beds comfortable, and continental breakfast satisfying (waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, biscuits and gravy. Wi-fi is complimentary and speedy. An outdoor pool and spa provides a place to relax after a day on the road. Noise from outside was non-existent, though we did have the fan on throughout the night. Definitely a go-to place for us when traveling. « less

The staff was incredibly friendly. After checking in and coming back for cookies, the clerk pointed out that there was milk available just steps away.
The rooms were beautifully appointed, with upgraded bathrooms and furnitures.. The lighting is soft and with the furniture and decor being dark in color, not too bright, but the room seemed exceptionally clean and the bright sunshine the next morning confirmed it.
I had a single king bed and was MOST impressed that the bathroom had a cubby hole with the suitcase stand, and that there were two sinks.

As we checked in, the hostess told us she had just phoned to see when we would be arriving. (our Canadian phone was turned off, and yes there was a message) Cookies at the front desk. Friendly staff. Our room was very nice. My husband likes the big TV. Hot breakfast, or cereal, yogurt. Great to have the juices, tea or coffee all the time.
