I normally wouldn't review an average experience, but this hotel was so uninspiring that I had to. It is not bad, it is just a formulaic dated copy of a US chain hotel. I got an upgrade to a business room which was big, and dark. Very dark. The gym was cramped and the equipment seemed old. But it worked. Everything is decorated in those muted brown and ochre which are typical of 80's chains. The TV system was really difficult to figure out, and the sound switched itself off from time to time. But it worked in the end. The breakfast experience, on the other hand, was excellent. The pictures on the website beforehand made me think I was coming to a newly renovated hotel so I guess I was just a bit disappointed. I hope they are coming up the Sheraton queue for a facelift. If not, I'll find somewhere a bit more inspiring for the same price in Warsaw. « less

The Sheraton staff was very helpful and friendly. We had just a three night stay and each day the staff was attentive. The cleaning staff realized that two adults were sharing a double room and left more complimentary waters and coffees! The breakfast was good and the variety was geared across cultures. Overall, I am very pleased with the stay. « less

In town for the weekend, stayed at the Sheraton. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. I was not able to get the room as cool as I would have liked to, but I like it to be really cold.
The hotel is in a really good location. It's a short walk to to many restaurants. It was raining our last night out, so we took a cab back for 11 zloty (roughly $3) rather than walk.
Breakfast was very good. There was a great variety. I have to go a little off topic and comment on the staff at breakfast.
The staff in the restaurant at breakfast over this past weekend has to be commended for dealing with a very rude tour group that was staying in the hotel. These people were very vocally complaining about the restaurant being under-staffed, having to wait "2 hours" for the omelette station (10 minutes max.), one lady even asked a member of our group to fill her coffee. There was much more, to the point that it made breakfast unpleasant for me. I had a hard time not speaking up to them because they were the kind of tourists that make the US look bad, and as an expat is was embarrassing and frustrating for me. I can't imagine how frustrated the staff was. My hat is off to them for dealing with these people and taking all their complaining in stride all weekend. Hopefully this is not a regular occurrence.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. « less
