Warsaw, Poland summarized

Four hundred years of sitting by the Wisla River, Warsaw has endured stories of intrigues, uprisings, and heroism. Warsaw's role has been detrimental to the succession from past to future power. As the reputation of communist Poland blurs in the past, Poland's capital and largest city is has been revitalized into an economical, political, and cultural powerhouse. During the War, Warsaw's buildings were reduced to rubble. After the accession of the state into the European Union in 2004, Warsaw saw an extensive renovation and development, which left the city looking distinctively and elegantly Polish, away from the shadows of Vienna or Prague. At present, Warsaw remains to be one of the greenest metropolises in Europe, blessed with the world's 4-faced clock tower. The Socialist symbol is only one of many architectural greats - The Palace of Culture and Science and the Wilanow Palace are a must-see. The Old Town, though only half a century old, has been placed among the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Tourists will love the displays of glass skyscrapers, Art Noveau, gothic churches, and the art district of Praga. Listen to Chopin's recitals that pervades throughout Lazienki Park, and see that Warsaw is a city of wonderful contrasts.

'Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. - said the Nobel Prize winner, Marie Curie, who had close ties with the city of Warsaw.

The 'Alpha Global City

Warsaw has long been one of the most livable cities in the world, and all for good reason. Today, Warsaw is one of the most happening international tourist destinations, along with being an economic center, as well as a culturally and politically significant hub. This beautiful city is also the center of the Polish media industry, and is also known for the large number of skyscrapers it has. Warsaw has a very flourishing Theatre and music scene as well, while most hotels in Warsaw are almost always full with tourists and visitors from all over the world.

You can explore the Teatr Weiki, the Polish National Opera, the National Philharmonic Hall or the Chamber Opera and catch an event while you're there, and catch some of the most happening events. Warsaw hotels and other facilities hold some international events on an annual basis, which attracts flocks of tourists and music lovers. Some notable events are the Mozart Festival, the International Stanislaw Moniuszko Vocal Competition, The Jazz Jamboree, and the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days. One of the greatest things about Europe is the attention to art and culture, which is worth seeing for yourself at least once in your entire lifetime.

Traveling the Smart Way

Most boutiques are uniquely designed and offer a truly Polish experience with their services and amenities. You can choose to stay in Mamaison Hotel Le Regina, Polonia Palace Hotel, Hotel Rialto, or the H15 Boutique, which are some of the finest independent facilities in the city.
