Hampton Inns are my preferred hotel chain. We found this to be your standard Hampton Inn property with the only demerit being the bathroom cleanliness. Easy on/off to I 95 about 30 miles north of the Georgia line. Although being close to 95 it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, especially the young woman working the front desk who made an excellent diner suggestion.
About the only problem with the location of this property is that there is are no restaurants near by except for fast food joints which we were not in the mood for. The only observed problem with this property seemed to be the ratio of tables in the pantry area seemed low to the potential number of guests. The wife did not like the comfort of the bed, I did not find it to be an issue.
I should mention that we did not have a reservation and just decided that we were tired of traveling for the day so we stopped to check on availability and that is how we ended up staying here. I would stay here again if in the area. « less

Just off the I95 yet quiet, with a small pool, and only 7500 hhonors points a night - there's not many of these category 1 hhonors hotels around and this is a gem. Also not too far from Hilton Head Outlet Malls. « less

Stopped at this Hampton Inn along I-95 as we made our way home from FL. Found this property through coupon book at SC Welcome Center. No one at front desk when we arrived. Mattress slid off of bed frame like it was on ice. Fridge was not plugged and it smelled gross when opened. No knob to control fridge. Toilet water ran continuously. Carpet stained. Won't stay here again ... even if there were "restaurants" other than Waffle House, McDonald's and Wendy's nearby. « less
